Ding-dong.
Attention, please.

Play a short chime to get attention, then speak. Your voice goes out live through the phone speaker, a Bluetooth speaker or a wired speaker, tuned for clear speech.

How it works

Chime. Hold. Speak.

Three steps from silence to an announcement everyone hears.

1. Connect a speaker

Bluetooth, the headphone jack, USB audio or the phone itself. Turn its volume down to start.

2. Tap the chime

A ding-dong Announcement chime plays once so people look up and listen. It's free in this app.

3. Hold and speak

Hold the mic button while you talk and let go to stop. Raise the gain until everyone can hear.

Features

Built for announcing

Free announcement chime

A two-note chime button on the main screen, ready before every announcement.

Clear voice, on

Trims low rumble and lifts speech from the start, so words carry across a room.

Feedback guard, on

Cuts the howl if the mic gets close to the speaker and lowers the gain by 3 dB.

Hold or tap

Hold-to-talk keeps side conversations off the speaker; tap mode suits longer talks and tours. Gain from -6 to +24 dB.

Bigger speakers

Automatic, phone speaker, wired output or Bluetooth, and the app shows which one is playing. Wired has the least delay.

Always under control

Runs with the screen off with a notification to turn it off, starts from a Quick Settings tile and stops if a phone call needs the mic.

Safety. Turn the volume down before you start and raise it step by step. Keep loud speakers away from people's ears: loud sound close to the ear can damage hearing. Don't play alert tones where they could be mistaken for an emergency alarm or police, fire or ambulance sirens, and follow local noise rules. Only use PA System where people know an announcement is being made, never to listen in on others. It is not a hearing aid or medical device.
